    pretty sure, you have no idea… live on a farm and farm sheep and experience what it is like.. the only thing curel here is these activists who think they no best, which in fact they havent a clue.. they are in the long run placing sheep in a worst position… farmers are not lazy.. its the city slickers that are lazy.. farmers are the back bone of our economy…

    Still giving your money to Peta, I am sooo sure they will do a good job with it.
    DID you know they collected over 30 million last year, and still killed over 2000 unwanted Pets.
    But i suppose it is very important to make adds about how vegetarians have sex with vegetables instead of finding homes for the pets.
    Peta and their view of animal rights?????,
    If you still dont follow what Peta stand for
    Please call Joaquin Phoenix spokes person for Peta.

  4. waratahNSW says:

    This is what JUMPTHEGUNZZ calls Peta working with Governments.
    Benetton eventually gave in to the intimidation tactics of Peta because of the pressure of activists protesting in front of their stores. They announced they wont stock Australian wool.
    Blatant intimidation nothing less!
    Now that the Wool industry has made many improvements over the last 5 years and spent millions on mulesing alternatives.
    Peta still wont accept these improvements and continues with their campaign.

    ImBackSoBiteMe is just a Jackass.
    who knows nothing about sheep

  6. mirandergirl says:

    waratah you are incorrect, I do not care how long you have been farming sheep for and how much you think you know but mulesed sheep if not REGULARY checked can still get flystruck and that is a fact. Farmers are lazy and simply would rather cut flesh of sheep then check them regularly and cruch regulary. That simple.

  7. christowie says:

    Look up ‘Tri -solfen’
    And follw a few links.

    Not sure if PETA started the search , but they certainly put the pressure on the search.

  8. christowie says:

    Waratah like all of us is worried about survival no doubt , and I doubt if he is a wealthy man…….irts pretty tough with the drought as well.

    Mulesing costs money, and the anaesthetic spray costs more.

    The Wool Industry , instead of attacking the messanger , should hear thet the consumer wants compassionate wool and help the farmers make the transtion….. maybe they are too; the administaration of John Howard is the soure of the anti PETA approach as it is athreat to live expoarts.

  9. christowie says:

    Well he’s entitled to feel hurt ; and he blames PETA for his pain, so that is human.

    But if you read what he says about mulesing he is an advocate of using anaesthetic , and any echnology that will eliminate the need for this unpleasant procedure;
    PETA is conducting alegitimate campaign but I fear that the effect will long outlast its purpose;

    And at least Aussie growers care…animal husbandry in Asia is horrifyingly brutal;[
    PETA will no doubt deal with them in time. ].

    You are mixing your bigotries

    Greenies?????

  12. ImBackSoBiteMe says:

    I do recall a comment I read where he stated this was hurting his business and he was out to “destroy” PETA or anyone that puts down mulesing. He also mentioned that this is hurting his income and has a wife and three kids…. sorry, but it is all about the money. If he was truly sincere, he would be out promoting his beliefs and would NOT be badmouthing PETA or others that expose truth.

  13. christowie says:

    Thets not true , m8;
    He has changed to mulesing with an anaesthetic
    The industry was so proud of preventing flystrike as a first step , the next step is to make the procedure painless ; and the final step is to breed merino without wrinkly asses.

    lol

  14. ImBackSoBiteMe says:

    waratahNSW is ONLY worried about losing money… he is an Australian sheep farmer and is attacking any person that is posting videos on mulesing. He partakes in this practise and has no problem. Apparently all these hundreds of videos and reports are wrong and HE thinks he is right. Follow the money!

  15. JUMPTHEGUNZZX says:

    The cruel practice of mulesing has been banned by 2010. Cutting lumps of flesh from a sheep without painkillers has been recognised as wrong. Either the farmers will have to look more closely to their sheep or change to non wrinkly skinned sheep who don’t get fly blown.

  16. waratahNSW says:

    My video shows a merino lamb that has been Fly blown. If this lamb was mulesed the risk of this happening is reduced to almost 0.
    Like you all forms of animal cruelty sicken me The fact remains mulesing saves sheep from the risk of dieing with flys, and NO sheep ever die because of mulesing or having the wool removed. Unlike the fur or leather trades where all the animals die.
    Please make our position Known, because if mulesing is band my video shows what will happen.

  17. waratahNSW says:

    Please allow me to post my video response.

  18. casperblackcat1975 says:

    A more humane way is being introduced to combat flystrike & I think it’s about time that other countries be put under the spotlight & the way they treat their sheep not just Australia.

  19. anthonyeaj says:

    I have never once seen a sheep not recover completely from Mulesing. I have also seen the sick result of fly strike and some die from it.

  20. anthonyeaj says:

    You stupid fucks. Mulesing is exactly that, the practice if done right,is “short term pain for a long term gain” I wonder if these know it all greenies have ever seen sheep with fly strike. It is sickening. The maggots eat through their flesh while they are perfectly alive for a very long time, until they are crippled and then either die a slow painful death from starvation, dehydration or the maggots eating vital organs. I have seen mulesing many many times.
