Water shortage
www.ntv.co.ke One million Kenyans in different regions of the country stand to benefit from a constant water supply once the construction of five dams is complete. The construction being undertaken by National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation will increase Kenyas storage capacity by 21 million metre cubed and alleviate water shortages in semi arid areas. Already one dam the Maruba Dam in Machakos is complete and will begin operations in May.
