Water Conservation at the Archetype Sustainable House
Effective and efficient use of water is an important part of a sustainable home. The Archetype Sustainable House incorporates many advanced water efficiency features. Some of the water saving technologies used include a 6000 litre cistern around the foundation wall and a green roof. The Archetype Sustainable House is located in The Living City Campus at Kortright, a sustainability education centre owned and operated by Toronto and Region Conservation (TRCA), with the support of many partners. www.sustainablehouse.ca http
