Behind The Scenes: RSPCA Puppy Farm Seizure
Puppy farming, in simple terms, is large-scale commercial production of puppies for sale. Puppies are sold through pet shops, the Internet, newspaper ads or at the puppy farm itself. Over-breeding, in-breeding, minimal veterinary care, substandard housing conditions, high mortality rates for puppies and puppies to an unsuspecting public. This is in NSW the other video was Victoria. Watch this video before you go to the pet shop to buy a pet. These guys are their suppliers. These dogs never get to see the light of day. They live with their puppies on a wire mesh floor and are confined in a space they can barely turn around in. China is not the only place Animal Cruelty is happening in. Australia has it too.
these puppy farms need to be stopped asap the RSPCA is a great organisation that helps these poor helpless animals they do a wonderful job caring for homeless animals
@0HaNnaHrUlz0 - (Continued) uses captive bolt guns. Good on the RSPCA Aus for keeping things humane. They could have thought of their own name though, rather than stealing the name of Britains biggest charity, one which was established 160 years before theirs. Because as a result, they now get tarnished by the bad reputation of the original. Now, am I an idiot for objecting to the use of Captive bolt guns by the British RSPCA? And is it my fault that the aussies couldn’t invent a new name?
@0HaNnaHrUlz0 - What do you mean you don’t know where I am living? I specifically stated in my first comment that I was referring to the British RSPCA. You know, the comment to which you referred to me as an ‘idiot’ and ‘ignorant’. I specifically stated that I didn’t know if the situation was the same in Australia. I have just done some research by the way, RSPCA is a completely different organisation to the British RSPCA. It is unfortunate that they decided to steal the name of a charity which
@ryandavidkett The RSPCA do the best they can. Yes I am a dog owner too and I always have been also. I am also a dog breeder. I don’t know where your living but I’ve researched it and witnessed it so many times, and they are put down by injection.
They also do take strays from the streets..
It is run mainly by donations from the public and volunteers who LOVE animals, and i wonder why volunteers would allow such cruel ways to harm animals if they are there to help? Oh wait, they don’t.
@0HaNnaHrUlz0 - Sounds like you need to learn more about the RSPCA. I am a dog owner, I always have been, I also donate to a dog charity each month. The RSPCA use captive bolt guns to put down animals, the humane way is to use injection. Neither will they take strays from the streets in many circumstances. It’s all good you hiding behind an avatar but you know little about the RSPCA, now the PDSA, they ARE worth donating too. Sure they sometimes have to put down animals, but not the cruel way.
@ryandavidkett You’re an idiot…
Wouldn’t surprise me if your brains were mashed up??
The RSPCA are amazing. They do everything in the best interests of the animals. If the animal is in so much pain that it’s like torture for them, they’ll put it down. That happens when the disease or sickness cannot be treated and fixed for good.
You obviously have no idea and is ignorant to the fact that people actually want to help these innocent animals.
Get a brain, yeah?

@Geordienev - We are talking about penetrating captive bolts here, there is really no need to create a hole in the dogs head and then scoop out its brains. I am not objecting to the death of the animals, but to the means of death; they should be put to sleep in the usual fashion, just like family pets, not “slaughtered” like a pig.
that killed me from the inside i love these animals u don’t want 2 c this in our country :’(
Im about to make a group like this only we go in those puppy farms kill every person in there and take the dogs and give them to good familys
@ryandavidkett
You sir are an idiot, The RSPCA do that under special situations were the dog is unable to be housed or are under significant pain that is unable to be fixed, I truly believe that the murder is committed by those who mistreated the animals previously, the bolt to the head is an instant death and leaves the animal in less pain.
…fuck dog being put dowm
@ryandavidkett get your fucking facts right you wee prejudice bastard! The fucking british RSPCA are not fucking murderers! They only put dogs down if they are vicouis or literally un saveable! They wouldn’t just go to a puppy farm and say these dogs are going to have to die because they are living in poor conditions would they?! Any way they use a simple injection to put a dog down they don’t shoot them with a bolt gun and mush up their brain with a metal rod!
How do I know? I watched my f
Sad. I think these farms should be made illegal and people should be told to take dogs from pounds rescue centres ect…
@2crazy2beacatlady These places disgusting, filthy & negligant of the puppies ( & the mums & dads who get left behind) & they treat them like objects because all they care about is $. The breeding dogs (some as young as 10 months) are forced to pump out litter after litter for their entire life until their uteruses fall out or they can no longer produce. They are then euthanized. Why do these places exist when thousands of healthy, beautiful dogs (& cats) are put down every year in our pounds!
Buy from a registered breeder that is a member of your states canine council, these people love thier dogs and they show them to gain recognition and points and they have a vested interest in thier breed, they will also give you registration papers showing the lineage the dog has come from . Pet shops are all about money and whilst people buy from pet shops this sort of thing will keep on happening-
@RSPCA Australia - And are the Australian RSPCA prolific dog murderers like the British RSPCA? Its all good criticising the living conditions of these puppies, but as a human I would sooner live in a slum than be shot in the head with a bolt gun and my brains mashed up with a metal rod. The RSPCA, as a brand, is a name behind a lot of murder.
i cant watch it anymore!.. thats soo sad.. :’(
@rhiannon3222 Not yet. It bloody should be.
@aceofspades815 why do you have to try and make a joke out of it u boneheaded prick
@RSPCAAustralia if you wanted to make a good point you should show what you left out
@rhiannon3222 YES it’s legal. Puppy farming is an intensive means of farming; similar to battery cage hens, sows, veal calves & many other livestocks. While there has been a decrease in puppy factories across Australia due to economic crisis’, there are still many in operation for one main reason alone; CONSUMER DEMAND! Next time you or anybody else goes to purchase a puppy, think twice. Every dollar spent on a pet shop puppy profits the puppy mill it comes from, keeping the mill in business!
is this legal??
