@johndeere1993 and i put my shit in the compost thank you very much! Sorry I had two videos up and posted on the wrong one. Besides wheat is not that good for us and is a waste of money and resources compared to newer technologies for health and farming.

Respond to this video… I do not look down on you for growing food in fact I am glad you do. It is just time in our evolution to grow outside these little boxes society puts us into. Do not let education get in the way of learning. I am telling you from years of research corn and wheat are lower foods. They are fillers and do not come close to filling our nutritional requirements without fortification.

Respond to this video… I challenge you to look into the nutritional value of both plants. And not just youtube either. Show me that amaranth less nutritious, harder to grow, more expensive to grow, and has less uses, or has allergens to anybody and I will gladly take your side on the subject. Row farming is horrible for the environment. The sugars in wheat raise the likely hood of diabetes. The gluten kills me literally! Corn and wheat are not good staples for sound health and ecology.

@SaxmanNateEarthsong The only reason people don’t know about amaranth is because it was lost with the maya when the spanish slaughtered them with war dogs for sacrificing little boys. Amaranth saved my life. I agree with no till farming but it is still time to open our minds and look around and not get stuck with something just because our dads did it. not only can you eat the grain from that plant you can eat the leafs too. It makes dye, is extremly drought tolerant, and A WHOLE FOOD!

@SaxmanNateEarthsong I bleed horribly from wheat. All I know is when I quit eating wheat and switched to eating amranth my foot fungus disappeared, I wasn’t as hungry, I slept better, I lost water weight, I developed a attention span, it is easier to get up in the morning, my arthritis is going away in my ankles, and my skin wasn’t dry anymore. When I added moringa to my diet(look it up too it saves lives) my color vision got better and began gaining muscle mass. Wheat is just filler.

@johndeere1993 just because we eat regularly does not make it healthy. Amaranth and quinoa are superior foods.

@SaxmanNateEarthsong This is Australia…wheat is a good crop for rotational benefits and no till farming. Wheat is no killing us. It feeds us and is a huge part of our diet…take your shit with you

Look into the health and environmental uses for amaranth. You guys are killing the real food. If you care about America and our environment look into real value of amaranth vs corn. The only use for that corn is to make up for the horrible gas prices, and to fill our american fat ass’s with a sugar substitute(corn syrup)! Wheat is killing us and feeding disease. Granted the technology got us fat and happy, now is the time to evolve. Corn and wheat create dust bowls. Look at Texas burn!

Sweet that is pretty impressive, its hard to find that much land to farm in North Carolina. I work for my friend who farms around 1800 acres, we do soybeans, corn, and wheat. They are helping me get started farming for myself but is gonna be rough lol, do ya’ll mostly do cotton and wheat?

  10. johndeere1993 says:

@clayprev thanks!, roughly around 5500 acres

  11. clayprev says:

How many acres do you farm? Nice video!

@Girlintherocket yeah looks like its going to be a reasonable crop…but grain quality isn’t that great. Hopefully rain stays away for a good 2 weeks. Yeah I have heard that…such a shame to hear. Hopefully next year will pay off

  13. Girlintherocket says:

Wow! They look awesome! Its been tough in WA.
