My mate & I were at trackwork & met Mr Chapman while he was out here (Aust). Nice fella. He commented to us that he knew how classy our sprinters were & asked if BC was any better than Takeover Target/Miss Andretti. We almost laughed ourselves to tears! BC has shifted the definition of champion in this country. She’s on a different level to those horses. Mr Chapman also? suggested at that time Frankel would beat her at 6f…4 days later he saw her race in the flesh. Hope he’s changed his view.
If you lot can’t enjoy both horses I feel sorry for you and have to wonder if you’re real fans! How can you love one more than the other. They’re both superstars. Comparing Frankel and Black Caviar is like comparing Pour Moi and? Frankel. They’re racing at completely different distances and their times are different because of this. If she goes 7f Frankel will be over 10f, that’s 3f difference, like last year was 2/3f difference. I feel sorry for you guys, trust me they’re both BRILLIANT!
I think that Black Caviar has the class of the two horses and is the horse who can win making it look as if she is not going all out whereas Frankel is? the more physically talented. To be honest they are both magnificently talented and Black Caviar is the best sprinter I have ever seen (though I saw Dream Ahead in the flesh). I just can’t help but thinking Frankel gives you a better experience when watching him but Black Caviar is just beautiful to watch and won’t ever let you down.
Great video. I can tolerate people saying that Black Caviar is better than Frankel (even though she isn’t) but I wont stand for somebody saying that Frankel hasn’t beaten much. Frankel has beaten Canford Cliffs who was unbeaten in over a year before the Sussex and? Excelebration was hailed by Botti as being the best miler he’s ever trained. Add to Frankel’s victims Roderic O’Connor, Dream Ahead, Immortal Verse, Dick Turpin and Poet’s Voice.
Black Caviar is 5 you tool. I realize you think turf racing revolves around the northern hemisphere. It’s a pity Dream Ahead retired because that colt may have got within 6 lengths of BC in the Golden Jubilee? this coming June. Probably wouldn’t have helped his stud fees though..

He had too much pace and turn of foot for Dream Ahead and he was the Champion Sprinter last year. He was too good for Nathaniel and Treasure Beach the latter who was a Classic winner. Just a freak of a horse….

A European Champion Sprinter to a King George winner.. Lets not forget the age difference between the two horses aswell. Black Caviar is 6, Frankel is 4. Both exceptional horses…

Its so annoying that this horse has won 17 races in a row, from 2 years to 6, and every MORON wants to say she is not great, she is not this she is not that, she HAS to leave Australia to be a true champion.. WHAT THE HELL!!! For once, can we just appreciate what we have! I doubt her and Frankel will meet Frankel has been laid off for a? while, and I have not heard anything about a future start. Seems odd! I’ll enjoy watching this great mare, and not question or ask for her to do more!

He might be? able to blast off and burn the opposition off but I think Moody’s right- if BC was still with him he probably wouldn’t match her speed. But there’s no reason to be so rude. I’m getting sick of all this rubbish written about BC. I can’t wait to see her thrash our sprinters senseless, and I’m a Brit!

I agree completely agree with Mr. Moody’s view on? pacemakers and the the bicycle team tactics that at prevalent in UK racing; let the horses run and win on their own merit. I am looking forward to seeing Black Caviar go to Ascot. There has been so talk of going to Dubai (2012); I would be delighted but I would also be surprised! A top rank racer and great for the sport.

What a wonderful looking mare. Would love to know the measurement of her girth, it? looks huge. She’s a TANK. What’s exciting about her is that she hasn’t been fully extended in her races. Frankel vs Black caviar in the 2012 Queen Anne Stakes. I think Black Caviar will win.
