A new CAST science paper addresses the need to protecting America’s sustainable water resources. Scientists predict that by the year 2050 the US population will have increased by 25 percent. This growing population will place a higher demand on water supplies as well as increase the demand for more food production across the nation. How will this increase in water consumption affect the availability of fresh water? How will this increase in water consumption affect the way we use water for agriculture to feed our growing population?

Green Architecture’s water conservation by Arch Lui Daya Garcia
Admin | July 28, 2010
This is about Water conservation wherein Arch Lui Daya Garcia encourages the audience to make use of efficient landscaping, wherein the rainwater would go back to our soil instead of going directly to drainage and rivers . “Green Architecture should design it this way, pag umulan you increase the perviousness of the site (the absorption of your site) If we cement everything, the water doesnt have the chance to go to the natural soil to be absorbed and go back to the natural aquifers so in green design, you must put back what the nature has provided you.”- Arch Lui Daya Garcia.
